Audition Information

Conflict Calendar

Please click on the link below to print the conflict calendar. We will also have paper copies at auditions if you prefer to wait to fill it out.  Failure to submit a conflict calendar during the auditions may preclude you from being considered for casting.

Rehearsal Information

Rehearsals will be held weeknights and some Saturdays.

Rehearsals are closed, which means non-cast/crew will not be permitted in the theater during rehearsals. We encourage parents to volunteer within our many areas of need.

Promptness to rehearsals is REQUIRED.

Non-emergency or previously unapproved conflicts may result in being pulled from a scene. If three non-emergency/sick conflicts are added, you may have to be pulled from the show.

Performance Expectations

Performances will be held July 31-Aug 2 AND Aug 7-9 at the Oconee County Civic Center.

The Saturday, August 8 performance at 2pm will be a Sensory and Family Friendly show. This means that house lights will remain turned on dimly, sounds will be turned down, and audience noise and movement will be allowed.

All cast members are expected to perform in BOTH weekends of performances.

TECH WEEKS are mandatory for all performers.

All participants in shows at The Stage Oconee MUST register in our Jackrabbit registration system AFTER being cast in the show. All of our payment and theatre policies can be found in your Jackrabbit Portal. More information will be included with the cast list.

If you are cast in this production, a Costume and Technical Fee of $100 is due after casting through our registration system. The fee helps to cover the cost of the production in areas such as show rights, costumes, set construction, the usage of microphones and lighting, and the rental of the Oconee Civic Center.  If you are unable to pay it or need monthly installments, please contact Wendy Oesterle at wendy@thestageoconee.com.

Each cast member is asked to have a family or friend volunteer during our performances weekends in one of many roles (concessions, merchandise, usher, box office). Volunteers for these roles do receive one complimentary ticket to see the performance for which they are volunteering.

Mandatory Strike will occur immediately following the final performance on August 9.
